Physical exercise is one of the best ways to keep an optimal physical and mental health. From reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety to keeping the memory sharp, the benefits of exercise are enormous. Further, physical exercise is a scientifically proven mood booster. Physical exercise, increases the endorphin (commonly called as the “Happy Hormone”) levels in the body, that produces feelings of happiness and euphoria. It also has a significant impact on the energy levels and has proven to promote better sleep.
How should I do it?
- Devote 40-60 minutes at least 5 days a week, toward some or the other form of physical exercise, be it brisk walk, a jog, skipping, zumba or any workout regime.
- You can do it either in the morning or in the evening, whatever works for you.
Within a span of two weeks, you’ll find yourself to be more energetic and in a better mood.
